The Telecommunications Graduate Initiative (TGI) brings together the major engineering and computer science educators in the island of Ireland to offer a top quality programme of graduate level courses that would be open to all of their students.  The initiative plans to deliver a series of short modules covering network services, protocols and wireless/physical layer topics delivered by leading experts sourced from Ireland and around the world. These modules will complement the structured PhD programmes being progressed by the partner institutions which include: TCD, UCD, NUI Maynooth, Waterford IT, Dublin IT, UCC, DCU and in Northern Ireland, Queens University and University of Ulster. In addition to the modules, the initiative will seek to transform the student experience ensuring that all students are exposed to generic skills training and incorporating industry internships into their programme.
