CTVR hosted two Secondary School students on a 3 week internship during July/August. Daragh and Robert were tasked with finding creative ways to investigate, measure and visualize the digital city – which they did with gusto! They used detekordevices (which make audible the radio signals around us) to generate audio recordings around the trinity campus, mapping the signals strength according to the strength of the audio. They used Prezi to collate diagramatic maps, audio, video and text of their findings. Daragh & Robert also created a Prezi of their version of a History of Telecommunications.

The students made presentations of their findings to the CTVR researchers at the end of their final week with us in August. We would like to thank Dara and Robert for engaging so fully & enthusiastically with the project, and for sharing their research with the wider CTVR team.
