CTVR at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition

BTYS12-4  30 January 2012

CTVR researchers were on hand at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition to help aspiring network engineers of the future to design their own telecommunications network. Every student is connected to the telecommunications network in multiple ways – through their school broadband service and their home network, via their phones and games consoles – and uses the connections to access many different types of applications. The telecommunications research centre gave the engineers and designers of the future an insight into how a network is built, and how coverage black spots arise.

CTVR is an SFI-funded centre and was hosted at the SFI stand on Saturday 21st January,.
