Moonwon Lee: 2010 DeLoitte Top Technology Talent
Deloitte, the business advisory firm, holds an annual talent competition which seek innovative ideas from university students on how technology can solve business problems.

In 2010, Moonwon Lee from CTVR in Trinity College, Dublin won the competition for his business plan to develop multi-carrier mobile broadband access.

Alvaro Palomo Navarro: 2011 NUIM Student Entrepreneur Winner
Alvaro Palomo Navarro, a CTVR PhD student in electronic engineering at NUIM, took first place in the annual NUIM Student Entrepreneur competition, for his work on the development of smartphone application software to lead the next generation of supermarket online shopping.

Alvaro’s research area is in the field of software-defined radio and multirate digital systems.
